REQUIREMENTS
.1. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age in the state of California to be certified and must submit an application before the first day of class.
2. Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
3. Applicants must present a California ID and social security card upon submitting application.
4. Live Scan
5. TB skin test within 90 days prior to the date of the first clinical experience. (if positive skin test a Chest x-ray must be taken)
6. Physical Examination within 90 days prior to start of instruction.
7. Must be able to read and write English.
8. Attend mandatory orientation prior to start date

Step 5: Submit all required documents and pay second half half of tuition fee of $650. This is due on orientation day .

CNA ONLINE/HYBRID COURSE DESCRIPTION
LENGTH OF COURSE

THEORY (60 Hours):
Delivered synchronously online via Canvas and Zoom platforms, the theory component covers core concepts in patient care, infection control, communication, safety, vital signs, nutrition, elder abuse reporting, patient rights, and other foundational topics. Students are expected to attend live virtual sessions, complete assignments, and participate in discussions as scheduled.

Clinical & Lab Training (112 Hours):
The clinical portion of the course includes supervised hands-on training at a skilled nursing facility, along with lab practice in a classroom setting. Students will gain practical experience performing personal care, assisting with mobility, monitoring vital signs, and supporting patients’ physical and emotional needs in a real-world healthcare environment.
Clinical and lab training will be conducted at approved sites located in the following cities: Fresno, Tulare, Kingsburg, Selma, Sanger, Visalia, and Clovis, California.

To successfully participate in the online theory portion of the CNA/HHA Training Program, students must have access to the following:

Student's must complete all assigned coursework with a minimum success rate of 75% in Theory and 100% in skills
